Bei der Holzverarbeitung bevorzuge ich vorwiegend einheimische Laub- und Nadelh\u00f6lzer. Selbstverst\u00e4ndlich bearbeite ich auch Olivenholz aus Spanien, welches durch seine spezielle Struktur sehr beliebt ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meine Gegenst\u00e4nde werden in reiner Handarbeit hergestellt und sind deswegen absolute Unikate. Sehr grossen Wert lege ich besonders bei der Oberfl\u00e4chenbehandlung: Die Oberfl\u00e4che soll der Hand beim Ber\u00fchren schmeicheln, darum meide ich Lacke es sei denn, die Lacke erf\u00fcllen die europ\u00e4ische Norm DIN EN 71-3 (mit solchen Lacken werden die Oberfl\u00e4chen von Kinderspielzeugen behandelt). Vorwiegend verwende ich \u00d6le und Wachse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holz ist immer ein \u201elebender\u201c Werkstoff und kann sich auch nach der Fertigstellung in der Farbe und geringf\u00fcgig auch in der Form (speziell bei grossen Teilen) \u00e4ndern, dies ist jedoch kein Mangel sondern teilweise sogar beabsichtigt.
